SUFFERING FROM BACK OR
NECK PAIN?
Back pain is a common condition and is normally not caused by a serious problem. In most cases, it is not possible to identify the exact cause of back pain. Whilst back pain can be painful and upsetting, it can usually be managed with advice and by remaining active. Sometimes leg pain, pins and needles or numbness are present; these symptoms can be caused by irritation or compression of the nerves in the back.
Neck pain is also a common condition and in most cases is not caused by a serious problem. Around 50% of people with neck pain will experience a recurrence of their problem, so it is important to understand the cause of your neck pain if you want to try to prevent it from returning.
We are highly skilled at supporting people suffering with back and neck pain. We can advise you on suitable exercises, pain relief and give you some tips on how to prevent further problems. Hands on treatment such as joint mobilisations and massage can also be given to help with relieving pain and stiffness. Please contact us today for more information or to book an appointment,
